In light of the limited availability of regasification capacity in the market and considering the currently unsold capacity at its terminal, Dunkerque LNG is organizing a Call for Market Interest process (“Capacity 2023-2036”) offering the unique opportunity to book up to 3,5 billion cubic meters per annum of regasification capacity with a minimum of 3 years between 2023 and 2036.
Thanks to its location and its technical characteristics, Dunkerque LNG’s terminal stands out as one of the most attractive in Europe.

Dunkerque LNG is selling 3.5 Bcma of long-term regasification capacity
Dunkerque LNG is offering a unique opportunity to book up to 3.5 Bcma of regasification capacity on a long-term basis starting from January 2021 till December 2036 and invites interested companies to go to https://www.fluxys.com/en/news/dunkerque-lng/2020/200204_dunkirk_lng_terminal_opportunity to find out more.
Qualification phase has started and will be closed on 28th of February 2020.

For this purpose, Dunkerque LNG foreseens an extension of the terminal shutdown until October 20th 2018. During this period, no cargo will be accepted and the send out will be reduced to zero.

The Madrid Spirit is currentlty delivering around 130 000 m3 (at slow unloading rate) of LNG originating from Nigeria (Bonny, liquefaction plant).
Over the following 10 days, gas produced from the evaporation will be sent to the flare. Send out to the french grid will start on July 18th.
The arrival of the Madrid Spirit marked the industrial start up of the Dunkerque LNG terminal.

Ce vendredi 8 juillet, le terminal de Dunkerque LNG a accueilli son premier navire méthanier.
Le Madrid Spirit est actuellement en train de décharger (à débit lent) une cargaison de 130 000 m3 de GNL en provenance du Nigéria (usine de liquéfaction Bonny).
Pendant les 10 premiers jours, le gaz issu des évaporations est envoyé à la torche. Les émissions de gaz sur le réseau de transport Français débuteront, elles, le 18 juillet.
L'arrivée du Madrid Spirit marque le démarrage industriel du terminal de Dunkerque LNG.
